I hope to have successfully given you a sense of my photography style. I believe in capturing the fleeting moments. Good photographs should not only document, but convey emotions as well. I try to capture the wedding day with photos that are distinct, classy, and artful. This is the result of a watchful eye and a keen sense of what's important. Many of my photographs are candid and un-posed. They convey the true emotions of the day as they occur. I have 20 years experience in wedding photography. I help you to keep the day fun, with gentle direction in organizing groups and family for "must have" photos.

On the other hand, there are times throughout the day where the best photographs are carefully posed, with attention to the details appropriate for a traditional formal portrait. Both are important, and in my view, both style compliments each other. You will find that my photography is modern, distinctive, and classic all at once. It is my pleasure to document your wedding day with images that you will treasure for generations.
My photography career began in 1978 with the purchase of my first professional camera. I love being able to capture the "real" moments in my photographs. I am a member of The Professional Photographer's of America, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, and Advertising Photographers of America.
I shoot weddings digitally with a 12 mega pixel Fuji Pro Camera and Nikon lenses. The professional Quantum Q Flash and other lighting is available to supplement natural lighting. Back-up equipment is always close at hand. I find that today's state-of-the art professional digital camera produces images that rival the quality of film.
One advantage of shooting digitally is that I never have to worry about running out of film. Often, I've found other photographers using film reloading during very crucial moments. Let's hope this doesn't happen while you're cutting your cake!
With a digital camera, I'm able to shoot up to 600 or more photographs before I have to worry about reloading. Another advantage of shooting digitally is that any image can be printed in color, black and white, or sepia.
You may even want a special photograph printed in both color and black and white (spot color) . All of your photographs will be printed by a professional photo lab on Kodak Endura professional paper for the best color and long lasting prints. These two advantages alone make the digital camera ideal for photographing weddings.
I have added a new program to create online viewing of your album layout and a proofing CD to select photos without requiring internet access. These allow you to make changes to the actual album pages and to view proofs in color, black & white or sepia (antique) right on your PC.
If my style of photography suits your needs and you would like to discuss your wedding, portraits or other special events, please call or email me. You can check my Online Calendar to see if I am currently available for your date.
I would be happy to answer all of your questions. Please include the date and location of the event. I live in Georgia but will travel. email form
